FAQs

Do I need a loading phase?

No. Taking your daily serving consistently gradually tops up the creatine stored in your muscles over around three to four weeks. A loading phase (around 20 g a day for a week) gets there faster, but it isn't needed, and larger single doses are more likely to upset your stomach.

Should I take it before or after training?

Whenever suits you best. Studies comparing creatine taken just before or just after training have found similar results, and expert reviews conclude that taking it consistently every day matters more than the exact timing. On rest days, take your serving at any convenient time. Many people find it easiest to have it with a meal.

I missed a day. Should I double up?

No need to double up. Creatine works by gradually topping up the creatine stored in your muscles, and those stores fall slowly. Studies show they take around four to six weeks to return to normal after stopping completely, so one missed day makes very little difference. Just take your usual serving the next day and carry on. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.

Will creatine make me bloated or gain weight?

Some people notice a small rise in weight in the first week or so, mostly water held in the muscles. It's seen mainly with high-dose β€œloading” of around 20 g a day. Studies using lower daily amounts over several weeks have generally not found meaningful changes in body water, and research has not found that creatine increases body fat. Large single doses (10 g or more) are more likely to upset the stomach; our recommended daily serving is well below that.

Can I take creatine with coffee?

Yes, most people can. One small 1996 study suggested very high caffeine intakes might blunt creatine during a high-dose loading phase. Later studies using coffee or caffeine have not consistently found this, and a recent expert review concluded the two are unlikely to work against each other at normal intakes. A few people report mild stomach discomfort taking them together. If that's you, take them at different times of day.

Is creatine suitable for women?

Yes. Creatine has been studied in both men and women, and the same daily serving applies. Take it every day, including rest days; there is no need to time it to your cycle. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before use.

Does creatine cause hair loss?

This worry comes from a single 2009 study of 20 rugby players taking high doses, which found a rise in DHT, a hormone linked to male-pattern hair loss. That study didn't measure hair. A 2025 randomised controlled trial in men taking 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no difference in DHT, hair density or hair thickness compared with a placebo. Research has not found that creatine causes hair loss, though studies are limited. If you're concerned about hair loss, speak to your GP.

Does creatine harm your kidneys?

Studies in healthy adults taking recommended amounts have not found that creatine harms kidney function. Creatine can raise creatinine, the marker used in routine blood tests to estimate kidney function, so results can appear lower than they really are. If you're having a kidney blood test, tell your doctor you take creatine. If you have a kidney condition, diabetes or high blood pressure, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, speak to your GP before use.

Dissolves well, unflavoured This Warrior creatine came very well packaged and in good condition. The box contains 360g for 80 servings which is good and it will last. This powder contains creatine, vitamin A, B12, C, D, E, magnesium, iron and zinc which helps in muscle growth and recovery, strength, helps in immunity and energy. I think this powder is perfect for those who exercise in the gym or at home. The powder dissolves very well in water and the one I chose is unflavoured but you can also choose the different flavours that this creatine powder has. As for the price I think it is reasonable. Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder with Vitamins This product dissolves easily in drinks, smoothies and moist food such as breakfast cereals. It doesn’t have any noticeable taste. We’ve used pure creatine for years. This variation is one of several that we’ve noticed recently to make creatine appeal to a wider market. Creatine should be micronised to increase the effectiveness and indeed this product is.The value of the added vitamins is questionable. If you are eating a nutritious diet, the additional vitamins won’t be helpful and the additives that provide these vitamins may prove detrimental. This is an area for personal research and personal conclusions.Significantly, the presence of the ingredients that supply the vitamins means that the dose of creatine drops by about 20%. So if a normal daily intake of pure creatine supplement is 5g, a new dose of about 6g will be needed due to compensate for the bulk made up by the vitamin additives. We have decided in future to only use products that are pure creatine and to continue getting a more than adequate supply of vitamins from our diet. Customer photo review of Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Creatine with multivitamins from Warrior - unflavoured really means unflavoured (in a good way!) This is an 80 serving supply of creatine and multivitamins from Warrior.I have seen the Warrior brand floated around quite a bit and have always been intrigued. One 4.5g serving contains 3.9g of Creatine, perfect for daily maintenance. The unflavoured mix is ideal for us as we prefer not to consume artificial flavours.A plastic scoop is included. The instructions say to use one level scoop which they expect to be 4.5 g. However, I measured one level scoop to be 5.91 g. Bear this in mind if using the provided scoop at its stated level as this would affect the number of servings from the tub (64 servings instead of the stated 80 servings).I made a drink up with just over 200ml of water and the provided level scoop of 5.91g and found the taste to be acceptable, i.e. unflavoured. If I were to shut my eyes, I would not know that anything had been added to the water - so top marks in that respect. At the bottom of the drink it is of course slightly gritty but that is to be expected. At Β£16 for 80 servings, it is a little bit pricey compared to the market rate for creatine. You are paying really for the convenience of having a multivitamin with the creatine in one serving. Flavour: Unflavoured

Helps hit your creatine and vitamin goals Firstly, this has a solid serving breakdown with 3.9 grams of creatine (1 grams below my 5-gram target although I make this up through meat etc.) as well as 50% of your reference intakes for vitamin A, D, E etc. (again this is fine for me as I get the other 50% from elsewhere in my diet/stack).The powder mixes well in water with no clumps and being unflavoured means I can either down it in one or add it to other drinks such as juice to make it more palatable. Most importantly it gives the benefits you would expect, with the creatine helping aid my lifts.Lastly, the price is also very fair when taking into consideration the additional vitamins you get which are not just filler like a lot of brands. For these reasons I am happy to highly recommend it, especially as its saving me money not needing to buy additional vitamins supplements! Flavour: Unflavoured

Good quality product which mixes well This is a great quality creatine. It’s a lightweight powder which dissolves much better than any other brand I’ve tried before. (Others tend to be quite grainy and simply sink to the bottom of the glass). This particular version is unflavoured. I would usually put it in with my protein shakes anyway, but for testing I tried it simply in water. The taste and ease of use were absolutely fine. It goes quite milky/cloudy but at least you can see that it has mixed in.A dosage scoop is included and the pot contains 80 servings which makes it good value. It also includes a whole host of vitamins and minerals, so is very convenient.I’d recommend this brand and would personally buy from them again. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

two birds, one stone Why did you choose this product over others?:To note this review is for both the flavoured and un-flavoured variationNeeding some pre-workout without the caffeine due to later night pumps i had to give this a try.Without caffeine etc, with good hydration its less of a pump but its better than staying awake all night and with the added vitamins theres the otherside of natural energy along with making sure your hitting your second supplement daily. It mixes fine with no real taste other than a powdery texture to the drinking. In the sense of the flavoured version it is a very artificial taste but its not a bad one at all and does make it easier to drink. Flavour: Unflavoured

Mixes well with water This creatine powder is good for gym goers. I use the recommended amount daily, just add it to water. It isn’t bitty or anything, it seems good quality. It mixes well with water too. I find creatine has helped over time for me to feel stronger, highly recommend this product for avid gym goers like me! I have no complaints. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Not cheap but good quality Easily dissolves in my water (around 200ml) and no real aftertaste. 80 servings for Β£17.99 is average value. Pleased with the additional vitamins you also get. If you regularly do weightlifting then this product will be very beneficial. Flavour: Unflavoured

So far so good So far so good. It dissolved easily without any issues. No taste so it doesn’t affect the drink. No aftertaste either. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Couldn't get on with it! I've used creatine supplements before and felt they always stay a bit gritty when disolved in squash. This one has the opposite effect and made the squash quite creamy, which I found quite sickening. It was easier to drink when disolved in water, but not something I can take my time over and savour. I do believe in the benefits of creatine so have reserved with it, even though it's not my favourite. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Great for growth and recovery This creatine powder is great for growth and recovery, due to the collagen within it. It mixes nicely and has no real taste, but is easy to drink. I find it good to use on my resting days whilst in a creatine cycle. I would be happy to recommend it. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

No idea .... No idea if this is working but everyone seems to be taking supplements these days, my only concern is what's in a lot of it. Always worried about copies and knock off .... however this seems ok and certainly there doesn't seem to be any drawbacks. Flavour: Unflavoured

Great boost for my fitness goals! I've been really liking the Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder. It blends smoothly, and the unflavoured option is great for tossing into my daily shake without changing the taste. I've definitely felt an increase in my stamina during workouts and have more energy all day long. Plus, it's awesome to get all those vitamins and minerals in just one scoop! Flavour: Unflavoured

Seems good at a reasonable price My husband was advised to take this as he was told it's good for preventing muscle loss as you get older, and helps to improve brain function. It's a good price at Β£12.99. Since writing this I have watched a TV programme recommending this for improving cognitive function in over 65s. I've started taking it as well. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Pretty good I picked up this Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder + Vitamins 360g to support my weight training and recovery, and it’s been an interesting all-in-one addition to my routine this May 16, 2025, at 06:38 AM BST, with those early sunrises keeping me motivated! This 360g tub combines micronised creatine monohydrate with a multivitamin blendβ€”Vitamin A, B12, C, D, E, magnesium, iron, and zincβ€”offering 80 servings at 4.5g each (delivering the standard 3g creatine per serving, with the rest being vitamins). The unflavoured powder mixes easily into my post-workout shake, leaving no clumps or gritty texture, which aligns with Warrior’s reputation for smooth, micronised creatine that enhances uptake. The creatine itself supports my liftsβ€”I’ve noticed I can push an extra 2–3 reps on squats, and my muscles feel fuller, consistent with the 5–15% strength gains creatine typically provides over weeks. The added vitamins are a bonus: Vitamin D (likely around 10 mcg per serving, based on standard blends) complements my existing D supplement, supporting bone health for lifting, while magnesium and zinc (probably 50–100 mg and 5–10 mg, respectively) aid muscle recovery and testosterone levels, fitting well with your ashwagandha and turkesterone stack. Vitamin C and E likely contribute to reducing oxidative stress from training, and iron (maybe 5–8 mg) supports oxygen delivery, though I’m already taking ferrous gluconate and bisglycinate, so this might be overkill. That said, there are some drawbacks. The β€œperformance & recovery” claim sounds great, but the multivitamin blend feels like a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none situationβ€”doses are likely too low to make a significant impact if you’re already on a decent vitamin stack, as you are with B12, D, and B1. For example, magnesium at 50 mg (if that) is far below the 200–400 mg I’d recommend for muscle relaxation post-lifting. The establishment loves to push these combo products as a one-stop solution, but I’m skeptical of the bioavailability of these vitamins when mixed with creatineβ€”there’s no clear evidence they absorb well together, and the unflavoured mix might taste metallic due to the iron and zinc, which can be off-putting in plain water. The 80 servings are cost-effective, but the 360g tub (at 4.5g per serving) suggests some filler or binders, as pure creatine at 3g per serving would yield more servings in that weight. It’s a convenient option for basic support if you’re new to supplements, but for your current stack, it might be redundant, especially with the iron overlap risking stomach upset if you overdo it (above 45 mg daily total). Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Good Mix of Vitamins and Creatine! The powder mixes easily into water or a shake, and being unflavoured, it doesn’t interfere with the taste of whatever I pair it with. I appreciate that it combines creatine with a range of vitamins and minerals, so I don’t have to juggle multiple supplements. It’s convenient and seems to support my workouts and recovery well. While I can’t pinpoint dramatic changes, I feel it contributes positively to my overall fitness regimen. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Decent! Easy to mix + can customise flavour. The serving size is one scoop (included) of the powder. It's a fluffy, white powder with even consistency so makes shaking to make the drink quite easy without lumps. The powder itself has no flavour so you can flavour it yourself with squash, syrups etc so I went with an apple & elderflower squash which worked well.Takes on flavour well and personally find it a fair bit nicer than some artificial flavour. Flavour: Unflavoured

Warrior Creatine Plus Vitamins (Unflavoured)

Creatine content slightly below 'standard serving' size I'm not a nutritionist but do train regularly and use various supplements. The dosing on this creatine based product is a little off.Positives:β€’Came airtight sealed from the factoryβ€’Mixed well. The unflavoured version went down well with my morning protein powder.β€’It's convenient to have vitamins and creatine in the same product.β€’Gives you 50% of your standard doses across many vitamins and minerals but doesn't give details on the sources of some.Advisories:β€’They've short changed you on the creatine which is a shame considering it's a creatine based product. Most brands will consider a standard serving of creatine monohydrate 5g, they are only providing 3.9g here. This product isn't designed for elite level athletes and but for the average gymgoer who doesn't want to spend the earth on supplements it's better than nothing. That said there are better value options available which will give a 'standard' creatine serving for an equivalent price per serving. Flavour: Unflavoured

Effective and easy-to-mix creatine blend This creatine powder mixes well with no clumps or weird aftertaste. I noticed better endurance during workouts and faster recovery after. The added vitamins are a nice bonus for overall health. The unflavoured version is versatileβ€”easy to add to shakes or water. One scoop does the job, and the tub lasts a while. A solid choice for fitness support. Flavour: Unflavoured

Energy boost I take creatine all the time and I have not had one like this with various vitamins included. I definitely feel the difference in my energy, mood and overall feeling of my body. I usually prefer a flavour on my powder but I just add this to my juice and it works the same. This is now part of my daily supplements and I'm loving the benefits it's throwing at me. Solid Supplement That Delivers Results!! I ordered this Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder because I was looking for something that could support both performance and overall health, and it’s definitely lived up to expectations. The combination of creatine and a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals makes it a smart all-in-one option for anyone serious about their training. The creatine mixes easily - no clumping or gritty texture - and being unflavoured means I can throw it into any shake or juice without affecting the taste. I've noticed improvements in strength and recovery, especially during back-to-back training sessions. The added vitamins and minerals are a real bonus. It’s reassuring to know that I’m also supporting my immune system and energy levels while working on performance goals. The fact that it includes essentials like Vitamin D, B12, magnesium, and zinc sets it apart from standard creatine powders. With 80 servings in a tub, it’s great value as well. Decent creatine with added vitamins Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder + Vitamins 360gThis version of creatine is a fine powder.
