FAQs
Do I need a loading phase?
No. Taking your daily serving consistently gradually tops up the creatine stored in your muscles over around three to four weeks. A loading phase (around 20 g a day for a week) gets there faster, but it isn't needed, and larger single doses are more likely to upset your stomach.
Should I take it before or after training?
Whenever suits you best. Studies comparing creatine taken just before or just after training have found similar results, and expert reviews conclude that taking it consistently every day matters more than the exact timing. On rest days, take your serving at any convenient time. Many people find it easiest to have it with a meal.
I missed a day. Should I double up?
No need to double up. Creatine works by gradually topping up the creatine stored in your muscles, and those stores fall slowly. Studies show they take around four to six weeks to return to normal after stopping completely, so one missed day makes very little difference. Just take your usual serving the next day and carry on. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
Will creatine make me bloated or gain weight?
Some people notice a small rise in weight in the first week or so, mostly water held in the muscles. It's seen mainly with high-dose “loading” of around 20 g a day. Studies using lower daily amounts over several weeks have generally not found meaningful changes in body water, and research has not found that creatine increases body fat. Large single doses (10 g or more) are more likely to upset the stomach; our recommended daily serving is well below that.
Can I take creatine with coffee?
Yes, most people can. One small 1996 study suggested very high caffeine intakes might blunt creatine during a high-dose loading phase. Later studies using coffee or caffeine have not consistently found this, and a recent expert review concluded the two are unlikely to work against each other at normal intakes. A few people report mild stomach discomfort taking them together. If that's you, take them at different times of day.
Is creatine suitable for women?
Yes. Creatine has been studied in both men and women, and the same daily serving applies. Take it every day, including rest days; there is no need to time it to your cycle. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before use.
Does creatine cause hair loss?
This worry comes from a single 2009 study of 20 rugby players taking high doses, which found a rise in DHT, a hormone linked to male-pattern hair loss. That study didn't measure hair. A 2025 randomised controlled trial in men taking 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no difference in DHT, hair density or hair thickness compared with a placebo. Research has not found that creatine causes hair loss, though studies are limited. If you're concerned about hair loss, speak to your GP.
Does creatine harm your kidneys?
Studies in healthy adults taking recommended amounts have not found that creatine harms kidney function. Creatine can raise creatinine, the marker used in routine blood tests to estimate kidney function, so results can appear lower than they really are. If you're having a kidney blood test, tell your doctor you take creatine. If you have a kidney condition, diabetes or high blood pressure, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, speak to your GP before use.

Changed with no explicit
Get a regular delivery and was surprised to see the one arrived today says 166 servings in the tub and it always used to say 100 servings in a tub. Same size tub, same size scoop!Noticed it now says use half a scoop (3g) and it used to say (5g)Any explanation for the change? Not seen a change in any medical guidance. Is this just to make it seem your getting more??

Product is good and a great price. Unfortunately I'm bombarded with email several times a week asking me for reviews and feedback etc...
I will be unsubscribing to this company because at this point its getting ridiculous.
Decent powder, bad description and ingredient list.
Decent powder but it says 'with added sweetener' in the description on the tub, and then doesn't list it in ingredients, just says creatine and anti caking agent. I'd really like to know what the sweetener is as I generally avoid them. Very odd and I wouldn't buy again for this reason.
This supplement offers a refreshing citrus taste that makes each serving truly enjoyable. Its accessible price point provides excellent value for those looking to support their daily fitness routines. Incorporating this high-quality option into a balanced lifestyle is both simple and convenient. The pleasant flavor profile ensures that staying consistent with your goals remains a delightful experience. Many individuals appreciate how seamlessly this product fits into their existing health and wellness regimen.

Am I a bodybuilder? No.Am I a gym bunny? Also no.But do I think I may have found a wonder product as a busy solo-mum trying to find the energy to exercise, work, keep up with housework and be active enough with my kids? Yes!I bought this because I was vaguely aware of the benefits of creatine, and as the autumn nights draw in, I felt my energy dip, so decided to try creatine. Today I made a fruit smoothie, with Collagen powder, and added creatine (I mixed it in a cup with warm water before adding to the blender because other reviews mention varying dissolvability).Honestly, it's been like rocket fuel. I've worked, exercised, decluttered the house and ran around with my kids and I've still got more to give. Even if I'm not going to the gym, I may just add a scoop to my coffee in the morning and smash through my never-ending to do list.I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience on this occasion.
Unflavoured tastes of lemon
Largely happy with this product and have purchased several times. The most recent time, the unflavoured version definitely had a taste of lemon in there so some cross contamination had occurred.
Dissolves well, does the trick.
I train a lot, lots of weight lifting, and creatine is a staple in any lifters diet. However, there's nothing worse than creatine that doesn't dissolve in your drink, leaving you with a gritty sludge at the end. This stuff doesn't do that thankfully, and I guess it is because it is "micronised".The tub was properly sealed with no damage or leaked powder in delivery. In fact the seal was a bit difficult to get off. Inside you get the standard sized scoop for one serving which makes it easy to measure the correct amount. The tub looked half empty, however I weighed it and it appears you get the correct 500g amount. The side effects of this stuff is that I feel a little bit stronger, have a little bit more energy, and feel a little bit better with my workouts. Not loads, because this isn't "gear", but it does what creatine is meant to do. It looks like micronised creatine that i have had in the past, and the ingredients seem to be mostly just creatine. Top stuff for anyone on a fitness journey.
166 x 3g servings. Good quality.
Warrior is quite a reputable brand so I'm confident the quality will be good. The product says there are 166 servings which is a lot but of course that depends on what you consider a 'serving' (Warrior's serving is 3g). It's quite a large tub but I'd say it's about 2/3rds full.
Used to be the best now going downhill
Have been buying this for ages however over time the quality seems to be deteriorating. Previously needed one scoop which tasted great now need 2 scoops and still tastes weak. Also does not mix as well as it used to. This used to be a monthly staple as it was a great product but something seems to have changed in the way it’s made so have started looking for alternatives
Ideal for body building, weight loss and martial arts training
One scoop on your morning protein shake/water bottle per day is all you need. You'll notice the effects gradually rather than instantly. Dissolves after about 2 minutes, or with vigorous shaking.Awesome supplement overall __
Great product for quick strength gains!
Item as described, great product, great price. Really noticeable strength and weight gains. Mixes well with my protein powder.
