Additional amino support during weight training To add to your drink prior or during training, for more amino acid demand, heavy weight etc. Then after essential amino acids, body cannot make its self, need from food. So good additive to your diet. Flavour: Crazy Cola

Very good ingredient profile If you know your supplements, then you'll know this Amino drink has a good profile of ingredients inc Glutamine.. No creatine or extra caffeine, so you can drink this all day or mix in with your fruit juices to give them an extra amino boost. Better for recovery and rest day- but a solid product. not the best flavour this is one of those supplements that you have no idea if it works or not, but evidence suggests it does. however the taste and how well it mixes is something you can judge for yourself and this one just doesn't have a nice flavour Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Dissolved well and gave me a boost Although I enjoy regular exercise, I don't usually go in for these kind of drinks. I suppose I've never been convinced that this type of thing actually makes a difference. I'm more inclined to just go for it and keep hydrated with water. I did feel that the drink gave me a bit of a boost, but it wasn't such a boost that I thought too much of it.It's not an unpleasant taste, although I'd never have guessed 'raspberry'. It dissolves quickly and well with only a little sediment.I intend to keep using it until it's gone, but it's not really my thing and it hasn't so far convinced me to change. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Not bad once you get past the overly complicated product description... I have a degree in Chemistry, well, given how many years ago I graduated, alchemy is probably a better description. I still keep up with modern developments and have performed research and post grad work, however, the following statement from the product description just bamboozled me somewhat: "Warrior Aminos combines best-in-class 8 to 1 Ratio Branch Chain Amino Acids, with a bespoke Pump & Nutrient Transportation Matrix, and Electrolyte Replenishment Blend to create an incredible intra-workout solution.". If it means, 'drink this and you'll feel OK whilst you workout' then why don't they just say that? All that pseudo science babble is unnecessary. That said, the drink is more than palatable and does mix very well leaving little to no residue. It works out at about 40p for every 500ml it makes up which is generally cheaper than the isotonic drinks you can buy so this represents a relatively good buy in comparison. Did it produce anything extra for me pre-, during and post training over my normal isotonic/water combination? Personally I didn't notice anything, maybe this is one of those when you need to be young and exercising to the max. I did like it though and as it's cheaper than buying the prefilled isotonic drinks I'll continue to use it. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Pretty good! Luckily this tastes better than it smells! On opening the tub I thought it smelt overly sweet and artificial, but I drank this during my regular weights workout instead of water and was actually quite impressed. It tastes fine and I really did feel like it gave me an energy boost, definitely more than I was expecting. Good stuff Good supplement which tastes great and mixed easily in the shaker. Glad there is no aspartame in this one as many other brands do. Tub could do with being smaller but really love the branding on this package. Very funky. Time will tell how good it's effects are! Flavour: Blue Raspberry

A Good Supplement for Gym Users I normally use SIS products as part of my cycling exercise regime, mainly for post ride recovery. The formulation of this product is largely similar, though with a mix aimed more at gym users wishing to enhance muscle mass and performance. I'm content that these products do have an impact. Often the difference comes down to taste and how well they mix. In both cases I have no problems with this product. On price and suitability for my needs I'll stick with SIS, but this seems to be a good product for someone whose main focus is muscle and strength. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Good 'intraworkout' mix; OK taste, easy to use This is designed as an intraworkout drink.I normally take a 700 ml bottle of water into the gym, and have mixed in the recommended dose (12 g / two scoops) of this powder. This forms a pale blue colour with a mild and acceptable taste; although I don't imagine it winning any flavour awards, I have no problem with the taste.I don't know how much was a placebo affect, but I did feel like I had more 'oomph' in the second half of my workout compared to just having water.I can't honestly tell whether it's made any improvement to the effect of my workout or overall performance beyond typical week-by-week improvements, although the development time behind this product is reassuring. It certainly seems a healthier gym drink option than lucozade or similar 'sports' drinks; I'll perserve with this and if I have clearer results I'll updated the review accordingly. Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Pleasant flavour My husband and sons goes to the gym at least 5 times a weeks so I thought this would be ideal for them to try. This review is based on what they told me. My one son drank it before his workout, whilst the other had his drink after his workout and my husband had his during. They all said that the flavour was very pleasant and quite refreshing. All 3 of my men found no real improvement in their performance but it is early days so they will persevere. This works out a lot cheaper than the ready mixed supplement drinks you can buy so it's worth the money you spend and if you use those kind of drinks regularly. I've given 4 stars because we have only been using it for a short time, there is plenty of time to re-review. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Good mid-workout product Am a bit of a novice when it comes to these sort of products. I've used post-workout shakes and pre-workout tablets before but never a product like this before which claims to provide a mid-workout boost. So I gave it a go, using neither of the aforementioned items. Did it work? Well, yes. I noticed a boost during my workout which negated the usual lull I experience halfway through. I definitely felt more more energised and motivated to carry on. This only lasted about 45 mins though, although each person is different with different metabolises etc so it really depends on your own experiences and goals. I found the taste quite off putting and it's quite expensive for the size of the tub. I'd estimate this provides about 20 servings but if you have a red-bull during your workout it will work out the same sort of price and this is miles better for you! Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Dissolves well and tastes good! I normally use BCAA powder from MyProtein. The cost of my usual powder works out cheaper than this one, so I probably would never buy this particular powder unless it lowered in price. The powder comes in a large plastic tub. There is a tiny scoop provided, although you probably have to dig around for it as I did. I use 2 scoops into my water bottle before my workout.Compared to my usual BCAA powder this dissolves instantly. I normally need to shake my water bottle quite a bit to get it all to dissolve but this powder did it in no time! It makes the water a very pale blue colour. I also really liked the taste, it's not too strong or overpowering and I actually prefer it to the 'raspberry lemonade' flavour I use from MyProtein.I would definitely recommend this powder, however there are cheaper options out there which do the same job. More energy, stamina... Better tone and more muscle mass This is the first intra-workout amino drink that I've used that actually produces a noticeable boost when training. As usual, the taste is gross but I'm noticing results almost immediately which is encouraging.Well worth a try if you're training heavily and need a push up to the next level. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

It works - and comes at a reasonable price This supplement was only available in the marketplace after spending more than a year in development. I've used other Warrior products in the past and can confirm that they take their products VERY seriously indeed. This supplement tastes good enough to swallow (meaning it doesn't taste fantastic, but it won't have you reaching immediately for the puke bucket, either) - and that's as much as I look for in a supplement. The general rule is that if it does you good then it automatically tastes awful.$64,000 question: Does it work? I would say "Yes" - it certainly enables me to push slightly beyond my usual limits - and I consider that a success. Note the qualifying 'slightly beyond' - it's not going to deliver superman performance overnight.Verdict - it works and the cost is reasonable. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

FOR USE DURING WORKOUTS. 30 servings. The amount of powder does seem lost in the container which is too large for its purpose. The raspberry taste is okay. May main concern is that the print on the label is way too small and the font doesn't help. Having to write this review within 30 days does not give enough time for the muscles to respond to the powder so I can't comment on the performance. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Smells horrible tastes worse Warrior Supplements smells horrible tastes worse but does the job as an intra-work out reviver. Best mixed with something strong to mask the taste. It comes in a big bottle easy to open and easy to see if it had been tampered with as well, and arrived well packed.Good product if you an put up with the unpleasantness Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Warrior Aminos BCAA + Electrolyte Powder – 360g (30 Servings)

Goes well with soluble carbs and beta alanine before exercise It mixes well with water to produce a blue solution that is quite pleasant. The supplements information at examine.com suggested that the mixture of agmatine sulphate, citrulline malate, taurine and, L-glycine could be useful for gym workouts, if taken before exercise. I mixed it with a scoop of Ultracarb and about 3g of beta alanine - both from Protein Works - and drank it about 15 to 20 minutes before rowing 5km at level 10 in under 23 minutes on a Concept 2, then Vipr exercise, 30 minutes on a cross trainer increasing the level by two every two minutes, followed by 15 minutes or so of yoga and Pilates stretches. I wasn't motivated before the session and wasn't expecting a good session. However, the physical side went really well despite AF kicking in mid-way - heart rate around 200 reduces power output - and mentally I felt as good as the endorphin hit from a high cadence Spin class with good music. DOMS hasn't been an issue (24 hours afterwards), although this may be down to wearing Skins plus drinking whey mixed with Ultracarb and some beta alanine post-workout. If I can replicate the results, I could see this becoming a regular addition.UPDATE 28 May 2016I've now added the MARPO rope machine to my workout and, I alternate the 5km row with a 12.5km row at level 4. I've also added a post-workout shake of 25g Protein Works Advanced Whey + a scoop of Ultracarb + around 4g beta alanine. I've found that my endurance has increased and there is little if any loss of muscle. I anticipate that I will continue to use this supplement. Flavour: Blue Raspberry

Glass half-full, tub half-empty... Warrior really seem to have some difficulty with spatial awareness because this is the second product I’ve had from them where the tub arrives less than half-full of product. I’m sure the full 30 servings are in there but they could all fit in a tub less than half this size. I know products settle in transit but this is beyond silly and a half-empty tub is not the best first impression. However, the actual drink is great and although I’ve also had some problems with the flavours of Warrior and Bodybuilding Warehouse supplements in the past (some are yuck) this is very palatable and drinkable. It mixes up quite well, given a good shake, with just a small amount of sediment forming occasionally. You can prepare it ahead and take it to the gym or out on a run with you, it would just need a quick shake before drinking. The recommended amount is two scoops (12g) in your preferred amount of water and I’m finding I can mix up at least 500ml of drink with that amount. The sweetener is Sucralose and that can be a bit over-powering in stronger dilutions but it’s easy to keep adding water to get your preferred taste. There are electrolytes in the drink too so they give it a slight salty flavour which undercuts the sweetness a bit. As mentioned before, compared to many supplements, this is quite pleasant and the Blue Raz flavour I tried reminds me of raspberry sherbet and wasn’t bad at all. It’s seems pricey at first but I think if you compare it to the pre-prepared sports drinks you can buy it’s a good deal on a drink by drink basis and this has to be a far better choice than glucose-filled supermarket sports drinks. The inclusion of branch chain aminos and an electrolyte complex should mean it’s more effective and healthier for you. Warrior call it an intra-workout drink but it will work both as a pre-workout boost and as a recovery drink afterwards too, so you don’t need separate products. All together I’m impressed with it, it’s easy to mix up ahead, it does give you a noticeable boost and it’s one of the more pleasant and drinkable products I’ve tried. I just wish they’d save some plastic and put it in a more appropriately-sized tub. Flavour: Blue Raspberry
