FAQs
Do I need a loading phase?
No. Taking your daily serving consistently gradually tops up the creatine stored in your muscles over around three to four weeks. A loading phase (around 20 g a day for a week) gets there faster, but it isn't needed, and larger single doses are more likely to upset your stomach.
Should I take it before or after training?
Whenever suits you best. Studies comparing creatine taken just before or just after training have found similar results, and expert reviews conclude that taking it consistently every day matters more than the exact timing. On rest days, take your serving at any convenient time. Many people find it easiest to have it with a meal.
I missed a day. Should I double up?
No need to double up. Creatine works by gradually topping up the creatine stored in your muscles, and those stores fall slowly. Studies show they take around four to six weeks to return to normal after stopping completely, so one missed day makes very little difference. Just take your usual serving the next day and carry on. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
Will creatine make me bloated or gain weight?
Some people notice a small rise in weight in the first week or so, mostly water held in the muscles. It's seen mainly with high-dose βloadingβ of around 20 g a day. Studies using lower daily amounts over several weeks have generally not found meaningful changes in body water, and research has not found that creatine increases body fat. Large single doses (10 g or more) are more likely to upset the stomach; our recommended daily serving is well below that.
Can I take creatine with coffee?
Yes, most people can. One small 1996 study suggested very high caffeine intakes might blunt creatine during a high-dose loading phase. Later studies using coffee or caffeine have not consistently found this, and a recent expert review concluded the two are unlikely to work against each other at normal intakes. A few people report mild stomach discomfort taking them together. If that's you, take them at different times of day.
Is creatine suitable for women?
Yes. Creatine has been studied in both men and women, and the same daily serving applies. Take it every day, including rest days; there is no need to time it to your cycle. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before use.
Does creatine cause hair loss?
This worry comes from a single 2009 study of 20 rugby players taking high doses, which found a rise in DHT, a hormone linked to male-pattern hair loss. That study didn't measure hair. A 2025 randomised controlled trial in men taking 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no difference in DHT, hair density or hair thickness compared with a placebo. Research has not found that creatine causes hair loss, though studies are limited. If you're concerned about hair loss, speak to your GP.
Does creatine harm your kidneys?
Studies in healthy adults taking recommended amounts have not found that creatine harms kidney function. Creatine can raise creatinine, the marker used in routine blood tests to estimate kidney function, so results can appear lower than they really are. If you're having a kidney blood test, tell your doctor you take creatine. If you have a kidney condition, diabetes or high blood pressure, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, speak to your GP before use.

Powerhouse supplement but not the best flavour
As a woman who goes to the gym five times a week, I decided to start taking Creatine. Warrior is my go-to brand for sports supplements, so I was excited to try this Creatine Monohydrate in Mixed Berry flavour. With the rising costs of supplements, the price for this is more than fair compared to others. The recommended dose is 2 flat scoops per serving. I tried it on its own, mixed only with water; however, the flavour is not the best. It is drinkable, but I did not enjoy it. Then I mixed it with my Clear Whey Protein Powder, which tasted way better. I noticed that it did not dissolve very well, even though I shook it a lot, and there were still bits in the bottle of my shaker.Overall, it is too soon to see any noticeable effect, but I will continue using it mixed with my protein powder. If you're serious about pushing your physical limits and achieving your fitness goals, Warrior Creatine Monohydrate is a good choice.

Convenient Creatine + EAA Combo
This is a powdered supplement designed to support muscle growth, performance, and recovery. The formula combines creatine β one of the most well-researched performance supplements β with essential amino acids (EAAs) to support muscle maintenance and repair. The product comes in a black plastic tub containing 270g of mixed berry-flavoured powder, enough for around 30 servings at the suggested 9g per serving (a 4.5g measuring scoop is included). Each serving provides 3.2g of creatine monohydrate and 5.5g of EAAs, including all nine essential amino acids. While often associated with athletes and gym-goers, creatine can also be useful for older adults and those looking to support muscle function, stamina, and recovery. This formula is roughly two-thirds EAA by weight, clearly focused on muscle support and performance. One serving provides enough creatine for ongoing maintenance, although those new to creatine may need a higher intake for the first week to reach saturation. The product doesnβt define a strict daily dosage but suggests using one serving daily, which aligns with typical usage patterns. This was my first time trying a flavoured creatine and EAA powder, and while the taste wasnβt my favourite β slightly medicinal β it was certainly drinkable. If youβre sensitive to flavour, you might prefer the unflavoured version.Pros:* 3.2g creatine + 5.5g EAAs per serving* Convenient all-in-one formula* Mixes easily with water* Scoop included for accurate dosing* Flexible dose depending on your needsCons:* Taste may not be for everyoneFinal Thoughts:This is a well-balanced formula combining creatine with a full spectrum of essential amino acids, aimed at supporting muscle performance, recovery, and endurance. It offers a simple way to streamline your supplement routine. While I found the flavour a bit lacking, the overall quality and formulation make this a strong contender in the category.

Great brand
Great power stronger than others and creatine is tasty, just the AEE tastes bittwr but its amino acid i mean what do you expect and they made me feel like idk relaxed?, easily covered with extra juice... i like it

I wanted fewer separate powders in my routine, and the one-scoop Creatine + EAA has been a good choice. It mixes easily in my training bottle. Already planning the next order.
Definitely helps but not a great taste
This stuff definitely works. Helped me in the gym massively and now I take it daily. Unfortunately the taste isnβt great but I guess everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Size of package is good for the price. Will definitely continue to buy.

Nice flavour creatine powder
Really like this Warrior powder. The mixed berry flavour tastes nice and isnβt overpowering, mixes easily, and seems to help with energy during workouts and recovery after. Definitely a solid addition to my training routine.

Great for the Price- Recommended
Hubby usually takers EAA and creatine separately so this is a great combo powder for him as he loves the benefits of both having used them for a while now. This has good strength of each. This is more convenient and works out to better value too than getting them separately and is great stuff for improving both energy .and workout as well as associated gains.. Mixes easily and tastes good so would fully recommend having finished it now and having been very impressed

Good quality creatine, ok taste
This is a creatine monohydrate with EAA in 30 serving pack. Comes with a mixed berry flavour which taste not great but ok. Dissolving takes time but acceptable. Good quality.
Flavour: Mixed Berry
Dissolves fast with little after taste
Used a couple of times to support muscle recovery and its difficult to tell whether it does work. However, I found this to be tasteless and easy to mix into drinks following a gym session as it dissolves quickly without any clumping. I think the price point is good value for money as I've seen the same product priced higher in high street stores.

Quite happy with this thumbs up from me 4/5
Not a bad product to be honest the flavour is okay quite zesty without that powdery aftertaste you get with some of these. It's good for after working out or exercise to help muscle recovery and the creatine can help you build muscle as well. The packet was recyclable after use and came with a small spoon for dosage instructions.Even though I have found some products that had greater amounts this was adequate enough for daily use.Overall it was good taste and I was happy with the product as it was an easy to use one scoop per drink delivery system.

Nice flavour
This mixed berry flavoured creatine with EAA is plesantly nice to drink, it mixes in with the water well and has a nice fruity flavour without being overwhelming. I've been taking the creatine whilst regularly lifting and have had a lot of progression in my workout. It's important to drink with lots of water.

Easy to mix and great EAA addition but prefer unflavoured
I have been using creatine for a little while now and have noticed an improvement in my strength and conditioning. I usually use a non-flavoured product as I mix it with electrolytes which are almost exclusively flavoured. This particular variety by Warrior is Mixed Berry flavoured which I found to be quite pleasant, but meant that I had to have it as a separate drink. Probably not a bad thing to be taking on extra fluids - just meant a change to my routine. It comes with a measuring scoop which makes portioning it out very easy. I mixed it in a shaker-type bottle and found that it mixed really easily, but it takes a little more effort if mixing in a glass of water. As well as creatine which is generally believed to support strength training, this product contains a number of essential amino acids which can aid recovery. I have no reservations in recommending it and only docked it one star as I prefer the flavour-free product from the same brand!

Taste..
Doesnβt seem to be anything wrong with it but the taste of the wild berry is disgusting..I would send it back but itβs been opened..

Great for muscle recovery
Iβve been using this creatine and EAA mix for a few weeks, and it really helps with my post-workout recovery. The mixed berry flavour tastes good and mixes easily with water. I feel less sore after intense workouts, and my energy levels stay up during training. A solid supplement for anyone looking to support muscle growth and recovery.

Overall a well rounded product (with caveats)
I like this product and have rated it at 4 stars only because i believe not everyone will be a fan of the taste (subjective)and some may struggle to mix it well. Personally in terms of taste, this is not so important to me because there are more important factors to a product such as this. For those that do not like the taste, i would recommend mixing it with something other than water. In terms of the mixability, I used a small cheap battery powered hand blender and the results where perfect. In terms of price i believe this sits in the midrange of similar products. Overall i really like this product mainly because it provides a dual action formular creatine (for strength) with EAAs (for recovery) and i believe it is produced in the United Kingdom which would always be my preference.

A decent supplement for gym sessions
I have been really impressed with this since trying it. I have found it variable as far as helping endurance goes but my endurance varies naturally depending on what I have been doing that day. I have definitely found it helps recovery afterwards and for me it is worth using just for that. The powder mixes fairly well though occasionally there has been a little bit of powder left. I have mixed berry and the flavour is ok rather than great. At Β£17.99 for 30 servings the price is comparable with similar products from other manufacturers and for me the benefits are similar.

If it was easier to blend then I'd rate it 5 stars
It tastes and smells lovely but itβs hard to properly blend. Half of the time itβs still kind of powdery even with a protein shaker, and I thought maybe my shaker is the problem but I doubt it

Good supplement
Iβve been using the Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Plus EAA in Mixed Berry for a few weeks now, and itβs been fantastic. The flavour is really refreshingβnot too sweet, just a nice berry taste that makes it easy to drink. It mixes smoothly with no gritty texture, which I really appreciate. What I love most is how it boosts my workout performance and helps with recovery. Iβve noticed better endurance during training and much less muscle soreness afterwards. Plus, it doesnβt cause any itching or side effects, which is a big relief since Iβm sensitive to some supplements. With 30 servings per tub, itβs great value and fits perfectly into my fitness routine. If you want a reliable, tasty supplement that supports muscle recovery without any unwanted reactions, this oneβs definitely worth trying!

Pretty good!
Good supplement to compliment training. The flavour is pretty weak but for flavoured creatine standards, by no means bad.Used a shaker with metal ball & mixed well. No issues with lumps or anything.Offers a good number of mixes so reasonable value for money. Difficult to find the same range & quantity of supplements for similar price so quite happy with it!

Good stuff
Good quality reputable stuff. Great for assisting in building muscle at the gym. I really enjoy the flavour and it mixes and dissolves well. Good value too.

A good option for keeping you on your toes.
For me this is a great addition for my morning supplement and tastes alright. Don't get me wrong it doesn't taste great but if you're already using these you know what i mean, for anyone else i always go by the rule of thumb that "if it tastes bad its probably good for you" and that helps me.I am not a professional and nor do i have a great knowledge of the effects other than what i feel and i have nothing bad to say about this, just remember to keep yourself well hydrated when using this.

Nice if you have a sweet tooth
Tried this for the first time the other day and it's okay overall, but worth knowing itβs very sweet. I went for the mixed berry flavour and while itβs not unpleasant, itβs definitely on the strong side - almost like a concentrated squash. If youβre not into sweet drinks, it might be a bit much. That said, it does mix really well with water. No clumps or gritty texture, which is a plus. Iβm not usually a big fan of powdered creatine, but this one went down easier than most.Iβve only used it once so far, so canβt speak much for results yet, but it seems decent for what it is. Probably better suited to people who like strong flavours - Iβll finish the tub, but not sure Iβd rush to buy it again.

Tastes even better than the last one!
Iβm already a fan of Warrior supplements and had been using their grape flavour for a while (still got some left), but decided to give this mixed berry one a go. Tried it for todayβs session and itβs genuinely even nicerβreally refreshing and easy to drink. Mixes well with no grainy bits, and feels like it's giving me a solid boost post-workout. Definitely sticking with Warrior for my creatine + EAA stack.

Excellent!
Great all-in-one formula! Creatine plus EAAs makes it perfect for pre or post-workout. Tastes great (mixed berry is smooth), mixes well, and really supports recovery and strength. Solid performance supplement!

Wasnβt grainy! Good flavour of mixed berries
Nicely packaged, looks great, smells really artificial on first opening, but that calmed down a bit when mixed with water.Taste is nice berry fruits flavour, didnβt go grainy so thatβs a win. Mixed really well with the water.
