FAQs

3g or 5g — which is right?

The EFSA-authorised performance claim is obtained at 3g daily; the Warrior scoop is 5g, the dose most studies use. Both work — consistency is what actually matters.

How many servings per tub?

300g: 60 × 5g scoops — up to 100 servings at the 3g maintenance dose. 500g: 100 × 5g scoops — up to 166 at 3g.

Is it vegan? Halal?

Yes — vegan, vegetarian, Kosher and Halal certified, with no added gluten. Unflavoured is 100% creatine monohydrate and nothing else.

Which flavour should I get?

Blue Razz is the best seller. Unflavoured disappears into juice, protein or pre-workout — the stacker’s choice.

Do I need a loading phase?

No. Taking your daily serving consistently gradually tops up the creatine stored in your muscles over around three to four weeks. A loading phase (around 20 g a day for a week) gets there faster, but it isn't needed, and larger single doses are more likely to upset your stomach.

Should I take it before or after training?

Whenever suits you best. Studies comparing creatine taken just before or just after training have found similar results, and expert reviews conclude that taking it consistently every day matters more than the exact timing. On rest days, take your serving at any convenient time. Many people find it easiest to have it with a meal.

I missed a day. Should I double up?

No need to double up. Creatine works by gradually topping up the creatine stored in your muscles, and those stores fall slowly. Studies show they take around four to six weeks to return to normal after stopping completely, so one missed day makes very little difference. Just take your usual serving the next day and carry on. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.

Will creatine make me bloated or gain weight?

Some people notice a small rise in weight in the first week or so, mostly water held in the muscles. It's seen mainly with high-dose “loading” of around 20 g a day. Studies using lower daily amounts over several weeks have generally not found meaningful changes in body water, and research has not found that creatine increases body fat. Large single doses (10 g or more) are more likely to upset the stomach; our recommended daily serving is well below that.

Can I take creatine with coffee?

Yes, most people can. One small 1996 study suggested very high caffeine intakes might blunt creatine during a high-dose loading phase. Later studies using coffee or caffeine have not consistently found this, and a recent expert review concluded the two are unlikely to work against each other at normal intakes. A few people report mild stomach discomfort taking them together. If that's you, take them at different times of day.

Is creatine suitable for women?

Yes. Creatine has been studied in both men and women, and the same daily serving applies. Take it every day, including rest days; there is no need to time it to your cycle. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before use.

Does creatine cause hair loss?

This worry comes from a single 2009 study of 20 rugby players taking high doses, which found a rise in DHT, a hormone linked to male-pattern hair loss. That study didn't measure hair. A 2025 randomised controlled trial in men taking 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no difference in DHT, hair density or hair thickness compared with a placebo. Research has not found that creatine causes hair loss, though studies are limited. If you're concerned about hair loss, speak to your GP.

Does creatine harm your kidneys?

Studies in healthy adults taking recommended amounts have not found that creatine harms kidney function. Creatine can raise creatinine, the marker used in routine blood tests to estimate kidney function, so results can appear lower than they really are. If you're having a kidney blood test, tell your doctor you take creatine. If you have a kidney condition, diabetes or high blood pressure, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, speak to your GP before use.

Why Warrior

The OG. Still undefeated.

5g

One scoop. That’s it

Micronised monohydrate in your morning water. No loading, no cycling, no ritual.

500+

The most tested

More peer-reviewed studies than any supplement in sport — twenty years of the same answer.

9p

The cheapest PB you’ll buy

From 9p a serving in the 300g tub. Strength support at pocket-change prices.

  • No Added Gluten
  • Zero Sugar

The Mechanism

Why the OG is still the one to beat

01

ATP, refilled

Creatine tops up phosphocreatine — the buffer your muscles use to regenerate ATP during explosive efforts. More buffer, more reps at full output.

The mechanism

02

Micronised matters

Smaller particles dissolve clean in water and absorb fast — no grit at the bottom of the shaker, no bloated gut on the way to the gym.

No clumps

03

No loading phase

Forget the 20g-a-day week. One 5g scoop daily reaches full saturation in 3–4 weeks — and stays there as long as you keep showing up.

Just show up

3g/day Performance

The authorised claim

The one EFSA-authorised creatine claim: increased physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise — obtained at 3g daily. The ISSN position stand calls monohydrate the most effective ergogenic supplement available.

↑ The Brain

Emerging evidence

A systematic review of randomised trials found creatine supplementation may improve short-term memory and reasoning — the OG isn’t just for muscle.

Myths, answered

Kidneys, hair, bloat, cramping — the common questions have been studied directly. In healthy adults at recommended doses, the evidence keeps coming back clean.

The First Month

What's happening in your body

Muscle saturation

~25%

When to scoop

Four windows. One scoop fits all.

One scoop · 300–500ml cold water

01

Morning

First glass of water

The label’s own protocol: 5g first thing with water. Done before breakfast exists.

02

Pre-workout

Into the pre

Dissolves clean into pre-workout or electrolytes — one shaker, two jobs.

03

Post-workout

In the shake

One scoop into the protein shake on the way out. Zero extra effort.

04

Rest days

No days off

Saturation needs daily top-ups — the scoop works even when you don’t.

Mixing

Micronised particles dissolve clean in water, juice or a shake — no grit, no clumps.

Timing

Saturation beats timing. Morning, pre, post — the scoop that happens is the right one.

Habit

Daily, rest days included. Each tub quietly banks the habit that builds PBs.

Backed by Science
Creatine monohydrate is the single most studied supplement in sports nutrition — hundreds of trials across more than twenty years, one repeatable result: more output in short, hard efforts. Everything else in the category is a variation on the theme. This tub is the theme: pure, micronised, one scoop a day, from 9p a serving.

I was very worried about trying a new creatine as I’ve had bad experiences with them. But when I tried it I was shocked that it was so good. It was a lot better than I thought it would be, my favourite one so far is the lemon one. I would definitely recommend it and I’ll be buying more creatine sometime soon.

Warrior Creatine Monohydrate Powder - 300g, 500g & 1KG

Warrior creatine is a great product, i would say best on the market. Not keen on the flavoured creatines, bit to sweet and sickly for me and most of us know how bad sweeteners are for you. Go for unflavoured.
