FAQs
Do I need a loading phase?
No. Taking your daily serving consistently gradually tops up the creatine stored in your muscles over around three to four weeks. A loading phase (around 20 g a day for a week) gets there faster, but it isn't needed, and larger single doses are more likely to upset your stomach.
Should I take it before or after training?
Whenever suits you best. Studies comparing creatine taken just before or just after training have found similar results, and expert reviews conclude that taking it consistently every day matters more than the exact timing. On rest days, take your serving at any convenient time. Many people find it easiest to have it with a meal.
I missed a day. Should I double up?
No need to double up. Creatine works by gradually topping up the creatine stored in your muscles, and those stores fall slowly. Studies show they take around four to six weeks to return to normal after stopping completely, so one missed day makes very little difference. Just take your usual serving the next day and carry on. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
Will creatine make me bloated or gain weight?
Some people notice a small rise in weight in the first week or so, mostly water held in the muscles. It's seen mainly with high-dose “loading” of around 20 g a day. Studies using lower daily amounts over several weeks have generally not found meaningful changes in body water, and research has not found that creatine increases body fat. Large single doses (10 g or more) are more likely to upset the stomach; our recommended daily serving is well below that.
Can I take creatine with coffee?
Yes, most people can. One small 1996 study suggested very high caffeine intakes might blunt creatine during a high-dose loading phase. Later studies using coffee or caffeine have not consistently found this, and a recent expert review concluded the two are unlikely to work against each other at normal intakes. A few people report mild stomach discomfort taking them together. If that's you, take them at different times of day.
Is creatine suitable for women?
Yes. Creatine has been studied in both men and women, and the same daily serving applies. Take it every day, including rest days; there is no need to time it to your cycle. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before use.
Does creatine cause hair loss?
This worry comes from a single 2009 study of 20 rugby players taking high doses, which found a rise in DHT, a hormone linked to male-pattern hair loss. That study didn't measure hair. A 2025 randomised controlled trial in men taking 5 g a day for 12 weeks found no difference in DHT, hair density or hair thickness compared with a placebo. Research has not found that creatine causes hair loss, though studies are limited. If you're concerned about hair loss, speak to your GP.
Does creatine harm your kidneys?
Studies in healthy adults taking recommended amounts have not found that creatine harms kidney function. Creatine can raise creatinine, the marker used in routine blood tests to estimate kidney function, so results can appear lower than they really are. If you're having a kidney blood test, tell your doctor you take creatine. If you have a kidney condition, diabetes or high blood pressure, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18, speak to your GP before use.

Huge, but doable.
TLDR: If you can’t handle big tablets, these aren’t for you. If you can, they are the best price—The other reviews are correct, these are giant and weirdly shaped tablets. The edges do feel sharp and harsh going down. I’ve attached photos of them next to a fish oil capsule, which are rounded for a reason! They were by far the cheapest creatine tablets I could find online when I ordered, and I have since gotten used to the size and can swallow 3 at once now (3 is the recommended dose and equates to 3000mg). 3 is doable but slightly unpleasant. My advice is to try not to throw your head back when you’re trying to swallow them, it makes your throat close and it’s harder to swallow. I don’t recommend snapping them into smaller chunks, the edges are even sharper that way. That all being said, I would order them again if the price per dose was the same as when I purchased.

Safety Concern: Broken Seal on Delivered Product – Refund Demand
The product I received arrived with the bottle’s safety seal broken. The seal clearly says "sealed for your protection."This is a food product sent by post.Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, goods must be of satisfactory quality and safe.A broken seal on a food product means it is not safe for consumption and is not of satisfactory quality.I reported this issue to the retailer, but no effective action was taken.I also contacted the manufacturer over a week ago and have received no reply.I am entitled to a full refund. Please arrange for the refund immediately. If this matter is not resolved within seven days, I will report the issue to Trading Standards and the Food Standards Agency for investigation.I await your prompt response.

Good stuff
Pretty hard to swallow tbh but it beats using the powder very convenient I just leave them in my backpack and have them with me everywhere I go. Does the exact same as any other creatine and gives you a noticeable difference to muscle looks in my opinion.Doesn’t have a smell or taste if you’re worried about that sort of stuff

Huge A$$ tablets
Too big tabletI don’t have any trouble with tablets, but these are huge tablets. It’s hard to swallow and you can feel it in your chest for nearly an hour , before it finally dissolves. It may be effective, but the pain of swallowing these aren’t worth

Convenient but not the cheapest way of taking creatine
These are reasonable creatine tablets. Bought instead of powder to take on holiday rather than the usual white powder. Thought it might be better if customs took an interest & doesn't need a scoop!Be aware these are actually 1g tablets, so you're only getting 60 servings - 3 tablets to make the standard 3g. Not the cheapest way to buy creatinine, but convenient.Tablets appear to be just compacted pure powder - they're a fair size. You can crunch if you don't fancy swallowing. Needs some water - unflavoured so usual bland taste. Don't really dissolve, as usual for creatine.

Huge tablets
Tablets are huge and for some reason always goes down side ways. Can feel them get stuck in my lower neck. Have to swallow something else to help push it back down

I have tried a few products in this sort of category, but this Warrior tablet format stands out because it fits neatly into a travel routine. It also comes in a useful choice of pack sizes. I take them with a meal so the routine is easy. Five stars from me.
Big tablets, hard to swallow but otherwise ok.
Seem to be good quality with only downside being size of the tablets, they are just a little to big. I struggled to swallow at times. I do have quite a sensitive swallow/gap reflex, but with them bring a tablet rather than capsule, they get stuck easier if you don't drink enough water with them.

Inconsistent quality
Just brought my 4th bottle, bottle 1 and 2 as i would expect would be 5star based on them and value but.. 3rd bottle tablets harder to swallow bit of moisture eg tongue and turned to mush instantly seem less stable have hated taking bottle 3. Hoping 4th will be better again but quality in terms of consistency, meh, might have just been a bad batch we'll see. If 4th bottle is good will use again if these are like bottle 3 will look elsewhere.

Large
Can't really comment on whether these make a difference yet as not been using long enough (am taking for chronic fatigue). However these tablets are extremely large and difficult to swallow. Even breaking into two, they are not massively easy, and I don't normally have issues with large tablets.

Good Value
These creatine tablets are good value for money and do what they say, my only gripe would be that they are quite hard to swallow and don't taste particularly nice.

They do as much as they say
Bought them but couldn't have them due to other meds I take gave to my friend he said they are good

Good value but tablets are HUGE and SHARP.
I don't normally have an issue swallowing capsules but this is the first time I've genuinely been surprised. The tablets are big with sharp edges. I think with a smoother shape they would be far better. Otherwise the amount you get for the money is great value. UK made and a good quality for the low price.

Does the job
This was a good way to get creatine, INormally have warrior creatine powder but wanted to try the tablets. These are big tablets, and taking three is a lot! They were fine, but I’ve gone back to taking the powder.

Tablets are huge and real hard to swallow, make sure to drink with a hole cup of water otherwise you'll choke. Otherwise does the job I guess
